The name "FindBite," along with all associated trademarks, branding, designs, and intellectual property, is owned by FindBite (the "Company").

1.2 Nature of the Platform

FindBite is an information and referral tool that connects individuals with food allergies or dietary preferences to restaurants and food vendors offering suitable dishes. FindBite does not prepare, serve, or verify any food or ingredient information.

1.3 Acceptance of Terms

By using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and any other referenced policies (including our Privacy Policy). Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Minimum Age

You must be at least 13 years old—or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher—to use the Services.

2.2 Personal Responsibility

Any dietary or medical decisions made using FindBite are at your own discretion. The platform is not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, visual elements, platform architecture, and code are the exclusive property of FindBite and may not be copied, modified, distributed, or reused without prior written consent.

4. Intermediary Role & Vendor Responsibility

4.1 Intermediary Only

FindBite is not a restaurant, food vendor, or health-service provider. It merely facilitates discovery of third-party offerings.

4.2 Vendor-Provided Data

All information about ingredients, allergens, preparation practices, and cross-contamination risks is self-reported by restaurants and vendors. FindBite does not independently verify this data.

4.3 Assumption of Risk

Consuming food from third-party vendors carries inherent risks. You are solely responsible for confirming ingredient information and allergen safety directly with the vendor before consumption.

4.4 No Guarantees

FindBite makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any menu descriptions, allergen disclosures, or ingredient lists.

5. Restaurant & Vendor Disclaimers

5.1 Accuracy of Listings

Vendors are solely responsible for the accuracy of their menu items and dietary information. Recipes and preparation methods may change without notice.

5.2 Medical Emergencies

FindBite is not liable for any allergic reactions, illnesses, injuries, or other consequences arising from food consumption decisions made using the platform.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Post false or misleading information or reviews.

Harass, impersonate, or harm other users or vendors.

Upload malicious code or otherwise disrupt the Services.

Violate applicable food-safety, privacy, or other regulations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

FindBite shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including (but not limited to) allergic reactions, illness, injury, data loss, or dissatisfaction with any vendor.

In no event will FindBite's total cumulative liability exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FindBite, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

Your use of or access to the Services.

Your violation of these Terms.

Any dispute or transaction with a third-party vendor.

9. Termination

FindBite reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or otherwise harms the integrity of the platform.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
